Today is a proud day for Skookum!

Skookum’s own Jeremy Olson won a prestigious Apple Design Award at a ceremony last night during Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC). He won for his new Grades 2 app in the "Student" category of the awards. Jeremy was one of three Student awardees and overall, there were only 12 awards given out this year. A prestigious award, indeed!

Jeremy is a full time student at UNCC, part time Skookum employee, and full time awesome iOS developer. Jeremy is our resident User Experience (UX) guru and has helped on almost every mobile application we have produced in the past 2 years.

After the success of Jeremy’s first iPhone app "Grades", a tool for helping students stay on track with their school work, he redesigned it from the ground up with help from his brother. The experience was completely revamped and apparently even Apple employees loved Grades 2 since it was featured in the "What’s Hot" and "New & Noteworthy" sections of the iTunes App Store.

Congratulations Jeremy! We’re proud of you!
